It’s nighttime here, and we all have our routines. Give yourself space within yours to quiet your mind, body, and soul so you can pray and read. Listen to God. He knows what’s best for you.
We talk a lot about our Christian journey.
No road, no journey.
Wisdom and truth are beautiful . . . on the page. The words are read, absorbed, and meditated on the page. But they are learned on the road, where it is costly and from actual experience. Until we step out on the road, the journey never begins.
We don’t have to be left on the brink — well, maybe once in a while, but for the most part, we can have trumpets (or the Rocky theme song).
“Blessed is the man whose strength is in thee; in whose heart are the ways of them. Who passing through the valley of Baca make it a well; the rain also filleth the pools. They go from strength to strength, every one of them in Zion appeareth before God.” -Psalm 84:5-7
Is there a highway to Zion in your heart?
There are valleys of weeping (Baca) we pass through. Turn them into springs. Go from strength to strength—increasing in power. Valleys are the obstacles we encounter, which seem impossible to overcome. If you’ve crossed a valley, you know it’s a place of vulnerability and conflict, and because of the terrain, it’s hard to see your way out.
The best part? We can depend on the Lord to carry us through.
Share this with a friend who loves a good chorus. Maybe it’s smaller than a song in length and scope . . . but you feel enormously comforted by it💙

Such simple words of wisdom about our walk with the Lord. Thankful for the Lord being a faithful Savior each day and so thankful for all the Ministry and Saints that continue to demonstrate and share the love of Christ in them all the time, but especially during this condition the Lord has the world in. Truly finding “wells” of love and peace to keep us refreshed during this season. We are truly heading to Mount Zion with joy in our hearts!
I saw this post last night but was too busy finishing my days work (which takes me a bit longer than it should). So I jumped on it this am and THE LORD CAME DOWN!!! What a blessing to have His spirit wash over you – I fill like I can meet the challenges this day may bring my way. I’m not talking about challenges with work, getting my job done. It’s the difficulties conjured up by my own “stinking thinking” that I need to “beat down” so I can “level up” and “overcome gravity” put the “bully between my ears” in lock up! Now I’m “fueled up” and feeling good about this day. THANK YOU!!!
ADDING STRENGTH TO STRENGTH
Thank the Lord He is our strength, our hope, our Comforter, our guide, our Friend, our Strong Tower! He is our Salvation! Thank the Lord for His ministry who is able to give us understanding and an example, of how to put our hand in the Hand of the Lord! And no man can pluck us out of His Hand! We get a good drink of refreshing water every time we go to Him! We are making it! Thanks Bro Darrel!
