We’re thankful you found yourself here this morning.  Take time to reflect on Jesus and your thankfulness for what He’s done in your life (starting right now).

To our churches, grab your coffee, notes, and Bible and click on Vimeo for the latest messages or pop in a DVD or CD from previous messages you heard.  We might not have met like this before–we may be gathering differently these days, but we are still the church.  God hasn’t left the church and is still present in our midst.

We’ll be back together real soon, but until then, we’re together when we’re apart.

Brother John and Sister Rachael have a song we can take through our day, “Sheltered in the Arms of God”.  I (Sister Lisa) have a testimony about this song.  During a tough time in my life, I was working two jobs.  Every morning, as I sat in traffic 1 to 2 hours waiting to get onboard the military base, I cried in my car.  All I could think of was my two daughters and that I would not be home until late that night.  My life had been turned upside down and I could see no light or relief ahead.  I had a CD of Sister Dana singing this song and I played it every morning and wore it out, but this song got me through some dark days.  It let me know that I didn’t need to fear anything because Jesus was walking beside me and I was sheltered in the arms of my God, which was personal for me.  When you hold on to that, it no longer matters who else decides to walk beside you.  My dad taught me not to waste time worried about what others would or would not do, but to hold on to Jesus . . . He would always be there.  And He was.

Sister Rachael’s mom, Sister Darlene, also sang this song, so there is no doubt it has blessed so many people.  Let it bless you today💛

Share this with a friend who needs Jesus to walk beside them today.

Sheltered in the Arms of God

I feel the touch of hands so kind and tender
They’re leading me in paths that I must trod
I’ll have no fear for Jesus walks beside me
For I’m sheltered in the arms of God
So let the storms rage high
The dark clouds rise
They don’t worry me
For I’m sheltered safe within the arms of God
He walks with me
And naught of earth shall harm me
For I’m sheltered in the arms of God
Soon I shall hear the call from Heaven’s portals
“Come home, My child, it’s the last mile you must trod.”
I’ll fall asleep and wake up in God’s new heaven
For I’m sheltered in the arms of God
So let the storms rage high
The dark clouds rise
They don’t worry me
For I’m sheltered safe within the arms of God
He walks with me
And naught of earth shall harm me
For I’m sheltered in the arms of God
Sheltered safe within the arms of God

  1. What a wonderful way to start the day. Thank you Sis Lisa, for sharing that testimony and Bro John and Sis Rachael – keep ’em coming! Tell those beautiful children that I would love for them to share their talents as well.

Thank you to all the Bridge crew for keeping us focused ADDING STRENGTH TO STRENGTH!

  2. But let patience have her perfect work…James 1:4 and not to be double minded James 1: 8. These are two scriptures I read while listening to this song and enjoying Sis Lisa’s testimony. No matter what battle we are fighting, as SIs Lisa said, we are truly sheltered by God’s grace and mercy, and we know we’ll come out victorious through Christ! Not allowing these winds out here to sway our minds, but to stay under the shadow of God’s wings in all seasons! Love ya Saints!

  3. Thank you for a Beautiful reminder that we’re Covered!

Psalms 61:3 For thou hast been a shelter for me, and a strong tower from the enemy.
    4) I will abide in thy tabernacle for ever: I will trust in the covert of thy wings. Selah.
