Deep relationships are built through shared vision, truth, and experiences as we go along on our journey.  Today is National Siblings Day, and we’re feeling extra thankful for our brothers and sisters in the Body of Christ.

Keeping our eyes on the goal and our hearts in Him❤️

  1. I LOVE MY FAMILY!!!!!!!!!!!!! I draw strength from knowing that my family loves me. God has richly blessed us to have a love that goes beyond understanding for each other. We are the family of God! I look forward to being together in services, working together at our school, and participating in our activities. I’m excited about our special service at The Church at Onslow this Sunday and the “pot luck” afterwards. We have been brought up in the Lord by being fed spiritually and afterwards naturally.

Elder LaFleur and Sis Jean started “pot luck” years ago to promote fellowship after services, and yes to feed many of our single service men who were away from their natural families. In the beginning it was Sis Jean’s pots, the trunk of her car full of good food prepared with love and like the fishes and loaves, there was always enough for anyone who would stay after service and be a part. The wisdom of our Apostle and Sis Jean’s labor of love planted us in this family; the family of God. We learned how to love each other by spending time in fellowship and breaking bread together. That being a part of God’s family meant you weren’t the first person out of the parking lot after services. Is it possible to really love someone if you never spend any time together away from church? We were taught by example how to love and that it is imperative to spend time together between services to cultivate God’s love in our hearts for each other. WE WERE TAUGHT BY EXAMPLE HOW TO LOVE BEYOND UNDERSTANDING!

I LOVE MY FAMILY AND MY FAMILY LOVES ME – SEE YOU ALL SOON AND LOOKING FORWARD TO SPENDING TIME TOGETHER WITH ALL OUR LOCAL ASSEMBLIES THIS SUNDAY IN SERVICE AND IN THE POTS AFTER!!!!

  2. This precious church family, led by Elder LaFleur and a God-called ministry, has nurtured and sustained me for my entire adult life and I am so thankful God planted me here! Elder and Sister Jean laid a solid foundation of love and fellowship through their marvelous examples. Now that Elder has moved on in Christ, the ministry continues on the same path that is firmly rooted in God’s word. What a wonderful place of peace and safety! What a blessed family of God!
