“Let It Rain” is here!

This morning I’m sure all of us preparing for tonight have the energy of a toddler who was just given two pounds of chocolate.

These projects help us grow closer to each other, and closer to God, and some have literally changed our lives.  Plus, we’ve made some great memories along the way.

Our biggest hope with the songs and skits is that the singers and performers will have these truths in their hearts for the rest of their lives.  They have taken risks and overcome the fear of what others think.  We hope they have drawn closer to the Lord and depended on Him more.

We appreciate all of you, and we’re praying God will bless this evening.

See you at 6:00!

  1. I just want to say, as an old Alumni myself (1990), it was a privilege to sacrifice my time to be a part of this wonderful production! I have always supported them in the past, while getting Bailey to and from practices and helping with food where I could. This time though, helping back stage, seeing the countless hours of sweat, and sometimes sleepless nights that everyone put into this, was an eye opening experience. It was Alexis’s first play, and I look forward to being more involved in future productions as she grows. We’ve been taught for years, by Elder LaFleur, to have the right spirit when doing things for God and for others. No, none of us are perfect, we all make mistakes, but when you allow yourself to be used for God’s edification, there’s no room for a bad spirit, or complaints. In the end, the hard work paid off, the negativity was left behind, the togetherness was felt, and the Rain fell! I had to wipe away a few tears during the nights performance. Hopefully, some other hearts were touched, who may be thinking they have plenty of time to serve the Lord. Thank you God, for the opportunity to be a part of this amazing school and the Body of Christ.

  2. This production by far was probably one of my favorite ones! The spirit that was flowing throughout the room was AMAZING! Watching the students and alumni performing together whether through skits or song was heart touching! It made you even MORE appreciative for being called out, and a desire to step up. During the break, I was talking to visitors and they were touched as well! There was no denying the spirit of God working in and through people that eve. To Sis. Lisa, her staff, OCA students, and alumni….SIMPLY AMAZING! Time and money WELL SPENT.

  3. All I can express, is WOW, WHAT A GREAT PERFORMANCE, in a down to earth way, it was all heart felt and genuine!
The testimonials and the songs, and skits were awesome! Thank you to Sis Lisa, Bro Chris M. and All the supporting staff of OCA And the Saints of God!!!
